{Thoughtful Thursday} Wise Words - Share Yours

Hello Lovely friends.... How are you? How is your week? Mine is zip, zip... zipping by..... 'sigh'

I had a fun little shoot with Bryce.... and wanted to share a few pics with you all.....and a little inspiration....

I stamped each photo with a little brush love.... Two powerful quotes.... Don't you think?

Quick Recipe: Converted the image to black and white in RadLab. I then Textured with Shine at Soft Light 57%. I reopened it in RadLab and added a light dose of Antique Tone. That's it...that's all... 

One more....

My daughter's wardrobe door is covered with quotes - lines out of movies or songs, famous quotes, funny ones and ones with deeper meanings. Different ones 'speak' to you on different days. I will be showing her your favorites and I suspect some of them will be appearing soon on her wardrobe door!
We have a family one, from my husband who has endured a few health issues over the years - 'If it hurts it must be good for you.'

OH---seeing piglets quote above, reminded me of Eeyore's regarding song and dance: (he's just my favorite Pooh character.)

Oh man, I love quotes, and there's just no way I can pick one! I had to make a Pinterest board to collect them all, but here's a few current favorites that resonate with me:

What a lovely give-a-way! I have been telling my best friend about your classes, and am hoping she signs up for Beyond Layers!

I like lots of quotes - depends on the day! Scriptures are always good, but there are two nice ones that I don't believe I have seen mentioned yet:

Thank you so much for bringing some joy into my life with your beautiful textures, Kim. I have been going through a very difficult time with my husband suffering from dementia. But I found some comfort in a daily inspirational email service called 'Today God Is First' by Os Hillmann. These daily emails have become my daily manna helping me to survive one day at a time. My favorite quote was:

I actually heard this from a lawyer friend of mine this week, he was talking to the grandparents of a young Navy Seal who was killed in action this past year...

"I didn't know Aaron but I'll never forget him"...

This might not mean much to anyone but me but it signifies the highest compliment you could pay to the family of a fallen soldier who was fighting for the USA. RIP Aaron Vaughn, Navy Seal.
