{Thoughtful Thursday} Random Street Photos & I Could Use Your Advice

Today, I thought I would share a few shots from our Canada Day trip to Clear Lake.
How cute is this little puppy dog?
'sigh'

And this scene, totally made me smile..... Four women having great fun!

And who do you think is related in this photo?
Mom, Dad, Daughter and their son-in-law/boyfriend.... or is it Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter-in-Law/girlfriend?
And how bout the pups ..... Mom and pups ... or Mom, Dad and a pup? No connection at all... maybe they just love border collies?
Whatchya think, my friends?

And here's 2 in-uniform RCMP officers.... love the unplanned comp of this photo...with the 911 on the left. :)

And here's an interesting character....

And, while I have you here... sweet friends... and especially Moms....
What do you do when your child gets his heart broken? Any advice.... 'sigh'
It feels like my heart is breaking too.
....
Love this guy... cause he's pimping (as the kids say) a nikon d700.... like mine....

That's it for today, inspired ones.....
Hoping your day is beautiful in every, single way.

Hey, I think a batch of cookies made make it a teensy bit better. A guy's heart is tied to his stomach. Make it happy for a short moment and maybe the pain will ease for those few moments too. Nothing lasting, of course, purely temporary.
So anyone looking for a successful, extra good looking, dental surgeon? He's quite the catch, if I do say so myself!
All you can do is be there.
Truly, although it seems like so little, it is so very important to them.
When they were little, you could kiss the boo-boo and make it go away. It is so much harder when they are older, and you cannot.
Just be there.
I don't have kids so can't give you any great motherly advice. Hugs and chocolate always seemed to help me growing up. :0)
And... NYC? Please connect if you ever come down this way! We could photo walk and grab cappucinnos at a sweet Italian coffee place :)
you and i have talked about this before ... as moms we carry the heartache of our children deep ...
when they hurt, we hurt ... we tend to feel every little thing they do ... even the love songs sting.
we look for glimmers that they are doing better ... and wish we could kiss them better like when they were little.
this is tough. damn tough.
we look for signals that they want to talk and sometimes get the signal that talking is the last thing they want to do.
so we bide the time. and hurt and pray and give thanks that this time will pass very soon and keep faith that he does have the most brilliant path ahead of him. i know it ... cuz i saw it in his clear, blue eyes and his beautiful, bright smile when i saw him friday, sitting in his car waiting for his brother before joining you for dinner.
you love him with all of your heart ... keep letting him know in your own way how wonderful he is and how wonderful his life is and the sun will shine more and more and more for him each day ...
love you and all your boys...
always,
pg
