Hello my friends.....

Here we are again.... it's Tuesday! 

Actually as I type this up it's still Monday... but anyhow....

How are you?  How was your weekend?

Are you ready for another TT Party... a little word inspiration this time around!

Woo hoo....I love WORDS...

So, my image today has a fab quote...but you probably can't see it very well.... The photo is much prettier large...I love this quote....and I'm thinking it needs to be painted!

How completely inspired is that?  Can I hear a YES! PLEASE...AMEN?  :)

Today's image is part of a series of blossom photos that I took this afternoon. I will definitely share more from the shoot...cause I'm so loving them! :)

I added a sepia effect to this image.  Here's the sooc shot (straight out of camera)...before I added the sepia layer and texture.... and I have to say I love it just as it is.... But it's always fun to play...and create!

Here's how I processed today's TT photo..... 

• Layer 1- base image
• Layer 2- Hue/Saturation adjustment, selected the colorize box and adjusted the sliders to 30,25,0.  Reduced the opacity to 30% to allow the soft pink to show thru.  
• Layer 3-Added the text on a path (a photoshop cs feature)
• Layer 4 - added the texture 'the letter' from my Studio Collection... (love this scripted texture). Added a layer mask and removed the texture from the blossoms...
• Layer 5 - added a levels adjustment... moving the mid-tone slider to reduce the light just a bit.
• Layer 6- Added a vignette. Created a new blank layer. Brushed around the border with a soft round black brush at 50% opacity. Changed the blend mode to soft light.

That's it...that's all. 

I'm really excited to see what you all have created!!

Remember today's TT photo must contain words...  either in the photo itself or added during processing..... plus at least one layer of any of my textures.

Yeah I did it. I've been wanting to join, so this morning I did it. Your art is so incredible and very inspiring.
I do have a question for you tho. when I'm in PE 9 and I want to add text, I have to reduce the size of my image down to 1000 pixels to add text at the highest size, 72. and I would like the words, letters to be bigger still. Is there a way around having to resize? am I missing something? If you can help me that would be awesome and if not thats ok too. I'll keep researching it.
