The textures are finally ready. My stomach is doing flip flops....as I prepare to release this collection. This feels different than anything else I have offered. I'm so excited! I hope you all LOVE it....

Oh my goodness... the release of the new collection is drawing much closer.
I am working on some amazing extras to add to the collection... It will definitely be larger than 30 textures..... 'sigh'
I hope to release it next week. Fingers and toes crossed.
I am so excited to set it free...into the world ....and to see the many beautiful works you all will create!

Hello my friends...
I've been thinking about DREAMS a lot lately...... reflecting on my Mondo Beyondo dream list that I wrote last February.
I pulled the list out a few weeks ago...I am amazed at how many of my dreams have already come true.
One of my Mondo Beyondo dreams was to be a Shutter Sister. :)
It's crazy what happens when you put things out there...and everything aligns just perfectly.
So, here I am...a shutter sister....and I'm flying to California!! Somebody, pinch me. :)
Ummmm, I definitely would not have predicted that last February..... 'sigh'
I'm such a home body...so content to just BE in my little creative world.
But this is going to be fabulous! So good for me!
I'm stepping out of my comfort zone this year....
How bout you? are you dreaming? are you dreaming big?
Have you dared to ask yourself.... 'What do I really want?'
Would you love to gather with fellow creatives and get inspired? OH my gosh... I just know Camp Shutter Sisters is going to be wildly inspirational.

I found this sweet, happy cup at Winners yesterday. Isn't it just perfect?.... Winners is a Canadian store, very similar to TJ Max. You just never know what you may find. :)
I used today's freebie texture set to soft light blend mode 75% opacity on the image above. That's it.
Today's texture is called 'life's good'.

Here's the same image, but I added a black and white adjustment layer, then lowered the opacity to bring back some of the color.

Oh speaking of the 30 in 30 collection. I have had lots of email about it. Yes, the new textures will be released as a set. They should be ready for purchase, early March.
'sigh'...so excited.
I have also had several emails about my 'white' images.... have you noticed i'm on a bit of white kick?
Anyhow, we painted our guest room white. it has 2 huge windows...you know the kind of windows you find in antique houses...big and long... The old wood floor, the ceiling, the walls and the bedding are white. All the white allows colors to POP beautifully. I also use foam core as a backdrop and drape a soft thin sheet over the window if it's really sunny. I have the coolest tin wash tub with a fab lid that I use as a table. Basically that's my set up. It does the trick. It's amazing what good light and lots of white can do both for photos and a person's mood. Especially this time of year. :)

How are you?
Just popping in quickly to share some 30 in 30 inspiration. The testers are killing me with their fabulousness... Seriously.. WOW.
Before I share their crazy awesomeness... how bout my tree image... could it be any more opposite from the happy posies I've been posting? Yikes... One might think I was suddenly depressed... :)
But I thought I would change it up a little.
This is a fav tree...and I can take pics of it from my car...which is nice...considering how cold it has been. 'sigh'
It is much sweeter on black, i must say.
Anyhow, I gotta share some more fabulousness with you all!
