Shutter Sisters ~ Share a Moment

Saturday was a fabulous day.....  Shutter Sisters from around this great big beautiful world gathered to capture their summer moments.... sharing as it unfolded real-time. It was absolutely awesome to 'watch'.....

Big gratitude for the Shutter Sister's community..... 'sigh'.... Such a gift.

As SS contributors, we all planned a special day.... and joined in on the fun. You can see our favorite moments here. 

Our plan was a trip to Clear Lake.... a place I love... in fact I could easily spend my summers there.... Anyhow, it was just John, Ben and myself....  the boys were busy with work and other 'things'.......Oh and I can't forget... my Nikon and iPhone too! 'sigh'

We were up bright and early and on the road. A perfect summer day. As we zipped along down the highway I was instagramming here and there..... a message from Sara popped up.... 'Kim, I live in Clear Lake now... I would love to see you!' Oh the power of social media.....  How cool is that?

First stop...breakfast at an outdoor Café (so Ben could join us) called Siesta....and then coffee with Sara....Who by the way is completely amazing. Oh my the adventures Sara has had..... She's so inspirational!

We strolled the beach, visited a few shops.....  Ben had a few dips in the lake.....we had ice cream... a perfect summer-moment filled day.

The best part of all..... this lovely greenhouse.... a hidden gem as Sara called it..... Thank you Sara for sharing this with us.... 

Oh my..... I must go back soon..... Here's a peek..... thinking a Film Friday in this magical garden.... would be AMAZING.... more to come....

Such a beautiful adventure and I also love the one of Ben looking at his Dad....very -precious. Love all your photo's.
I am so pissed at myself right this moment because I forgot. We were in Maine, had company and we also were out shooting. Gosh I wish my worked everyday and not just some....xoxo

Oh wow ! ! . . love these images. What a wonderful Saturday for you, John and Ben ! We've had our family reunions at Clear Lake with such wonderful memories ! We have just returned from a reunion but gathered at Wisconsin Dellls this time ( a more central location) as we gather from east, west, north & south. Personally, I like gathering in Manitoba as that is where the roots of our family come from.
