(Reflection of You) 5 Fact Friday

Hello friends,

I'm back with another 5 Fact Friday....sadly this is 'film-less friday' again........ oh my what a few days it's been..... such a long story.... But can I just say.... thank you for all the kind emails that landed in my inbox yesterday... I can't begin to express how much they were appreciated. It was as if you knew I needed the extra love! 'sigh'.... so grateful. Here's to a new day!

The boys and I took these photos a few months back and I totally forgot about them til this week..... I thought they'd be fun as an animated gif. :)... silliness.... (the files a little large and slow to load...gotta investigate that).....
You might notice Brett is a little slimmer in the photos I posted the other day..... He really looks awesome! Bryce on the other hand never has to worry about what he eats.... He gets that from his skinny-mini Dad. Sorry Bretter...You are your father's son... but you did get a little of your mama's genetics too.... oops....

Fact #1: This has been a mix of the best and the worst.... all in one week. It's funny how that goes.

Fact #2: Today is day 6 of pilates for me. I'm back in the saddle...and wondering what made me quit? It's so good for the back, the core... the everything.......I sleep better too.

Fact #3: I am so excited about Oasis. Xanthe and I are landing in Cali a few days early.... and we're cooking up some fun plans... Bursting.....

Fact #4: I've recently started watching Netflix....and my latest little guilty pleasure; a silly teen drama called, Life Unexpected... it only lasted 2 seasons... not sure what the draw is...but I can sit and watch 2 or 3 episodes in a row....and just kind of escape into the 'drama'.... 

Fact #5: Animated gifs  make me a little queasy ... so I must finish this post...as the flashing image is starting to drive me mad.... Perhaps you feel the same way.... 'giggles'......

I LOVE this gif...a Mom surrounded by her boys. So sweet! I'm sorry about your rough week - here's to better days next week! I've never taken Pilates but my daughter has...she's a dancer so she took to it so easily with her flexibility. Her Mom is a whole different story altogether...lol. :)

oh lordy ... that is just so hilarious! i'm dizzy watching you three!
but isn't that just the perfect capture of a typical convo between you?
well, except if the boys decided to jabb each other, lol!
so i decided to focus on each of you to watch each frame (to keep my head from spinning) ...
and my fave of brett is when he rests his head on his hand (his portraits yesterday were so so beautiful btw ~ love brett!) ...
my fave of you is when you give that funny 'oh brother' look, followed by angelic smile ~ priceless!
and brycee when he has his arm around your shoulders ~ he loves his momma so ... : )
a definite bbb moment ~ each and every crazy one!

Oh, I LOVED "Life Unexpected" when it was on tv. It took place and was filmed in Portland, Oregon...and I was living in Oregon at the time....so it was great ;) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)

Hi Kim,

Thanks for the love today (did you mean to link to the Reflections of You post?). I was so glad to see the photos above today as somehow I've missed any photos of your boys previously. So nice to see your family! Just signed up for Round Trip - so very excited! Really wish I could go to Oasis but the timing wasn't right at work. Hoping to attend the next event though, whenever that might be, but will be looking forward to your reporting when you return.

Kim, Loved your post, and your gif. I have a son named Brett also, and he is amazing. Actually, he is a photographer. Not sure if he is following in my footsteps, or me in his.

I hope they have Oasis next year. I would so love to go. More importantly, I would love to be the strong, confident woman who ventures out alone to something like that. Enjoy your time there, and I look forward to hearing all about it.
