(Reflection of You) 5 Fact Friday & a Give Away

looking back
Hello lovelies,
It's friday again..... can you believe it? I lost a whole day this week... On Wednesday I woke up and repeatedly thought it was Tuesday.... and then it hit me...about half way through the day... Oh my gosh... It's Wednesday. I blame John and the boys.... John had Monday off...then the boys were both home sick Tuesday...and well...it just messed with my routine!!
'sigh'....
And so, here I am.... film-less again... Thinking it may need to be a once a month feature at this rate... especially with all the awesome stuff happening this fall..... I'm so excited about Round Trip, another session of Behind the Scenes....and there's a little something else to come over at ROY as well.... Not to mention Oasis... Oh my....
Anyhow, before I dive into my 5 facts.... How 'bout a give away?
A chance to win a space in Behind the Scenes..... woo hoo!! And you can double your chances by popping over to Xanthe's blog too!
To enter, simply leave a comment below .... sharing one sweet fact about YOU. :) The winner will be announced on Monday.....
To double your chances..... swing by and leave a comment over at Xanthe's place. Good luck!!

Wanna join the 5 Fact party? Pop over to ROY and link up your 5 Fact posting... The more the merrier!!
Here are my 5 facts.....
Fact #1: I love Ben....like a mother loves her child. I'm absolutely not kidding!! When Myriam was here visiting.... she said to me one day... You really do LOVE Ben....in a bit of surprised way....as in wowzer you love that dog! ..... :)
Fact #2: Ben is not allowed to sleep with us (John's rule...it's about the shedding...ugh), but he is allowed up on the bed after John gets up or if we are just having a nap....Anyhow, I purposely stay in bed after John get up...so Ben and I can cuddle for a few minutes. :)

Fact #3: Ben is such a good boy. John has trained him not to leave the yard. When he sees something interesting like a cat for example, he sits at the edge and watches...and watches...and watches.... :)

Fact #4: Ben and I walk 4 miles everyday and we bike 5. Some days when it's super busy we do 2 bike rides instead. Oh, he doesn't bike...he runs. :)

Fact #5: Ben loves sitting on the front porch.... So if I'm anywhere near the front door...he kinda tries to 'herd' me in that direction...like a border collie would... it's so sooo CUTE. Most days he wins and out we go...even if it's just for a little sit. Oh and if we are in the studio and I grab my camera he gets all kinds of wiggly.....cause he assumes we are heading out to take photos.....
There you have it... 5 Facts.... They are kinda sorta about me... in fact...I'm thinking a therapist could have a hay day with these somewhat Ben-obsessed facts... lol....

Sophie, Ben's 'cousin'.... my brother's labradoodle...
Thanks for stopping by....as always... my heart is full to the brim with gratitude for all of you!
xo,

all of today's photos were taken with my iPhone 4s.
Kim Klassen

OK- ONE fact: When I retired from teaching first grade 2 years ago, I bought a DSLR so that I could take decent photos of my first grandbaby- but I have found my creativity awakened at age 66- and am now OBSESSED with all things photography and photo-editing related! (and I now have TWO grandbabies to love - and photograph!).
I love all the Ben facts. I feel the same way about my cat (who herds me everyday!). That is so sweet - how they love us too! My fact: each morning my other kitty Nippy races me to the kitchen, and jumps up on the counter while she waits for her strawberry. She rubs the one she wants with her head, I slice it up so it's nice and juicy, then she eats it. E V E R Y M O R N I N G....!
Fact: I had my 18th birthday in Portugal! I can't wait to get back to Europe with my camera.
Happy weekend!
we have 2 dogs (lhaso apso--Cleo and Bandit). this is the first time in my life i haven't had a cat, and i've never had dogs before these two. i love not cleaning the litter box (!) but getting up to walk the pups is kind of annoying...yet good for us! still trying to figure out how to have dogs even after 6 years with them! :o)
p.s. i'm alone this weekend so they will be sleeping on my bed with me!
So what is fun about all of that? :) I don't get paid for any of it... it is just something I find fun and LOVE to do (I can't walk by a scene without judging weather it has any photographic or poetic possibilities. AND sometimes, my kids see it first now, and we love to compare and "compete" a bit.
Please enroll me in the "Behind the Scenes" giveaway. Thank You!
A sweet fact about me... I have a huge interest in promoting plant based nutrition and complete love of photography. . OK, that's two facts.. The never ending process of learning is absorbing, fun and ongoing.
ONE FACT: I am going to Paris in October and plan on filling many 8gb cards with new photos for a show in early 2013!!
On my way back to Va today to help my daughter find a place to live!!! She just got her dream job!!
Have a beautiful day!!
Susan
Thanks for the chance of winning a seat, what a great prize!
One Fact About Me: I am in love with my Annie. She is a rat terrier/healer mix - so she's basically a 30 lb rat terrier. I love to watch her tear around the perimeter of our back yard when I let her outside. She thinks it is her job to protect me from all squirrels, stray cats and bumble bees - and she takes that job very very VERY seriously. Just thinking about her while I was typing this made me smile.
Thank you for the give away opportunity. I would love to learn more from you.
Best,
Kirsten
Oh I so hope I win! Thanks Kim...for everything !!!
Thank you for giving away a spot in the workshop, it would be great to win.
Ben is so cute...
Thanks for everything!
One fact about me for Fact Friday. I love Chocolate! Mostly milk chocolate, but put any chocolate in front of me and I will be sure to have a taste! Happy Friday! :)
one sweet fact about me? I am a crier. I cry when I am happy and I cry when I am sad. I cry for joy and I cry for sorrow. My family laughs at me. This past weekend we were all together at Margie's cottage, kids, grandkids, brothers, sisters, cousins. I walked in the door and said, "OH I am going to cry a lot this weekend". I was right ... my biggest cry was when I had to say goodby to Harry, the sweet boy featured on our blog today! I will probably cry if I win! :-)
Thank you for all the wonderful textures and am enjoying the beyond series.
I really love my Moesj too :-)
I enjoyed Behind the Scenes so much, it's an amazing course,
lots of success with the following session !
Nice weekend,
Sylvia
