Photoshop Texture Tutorial - An Autumn Celebration
Wed, September 21

Hello my friends,
Happiest Wednesday!
As promised I am back with a little selective texturing tutorial.
And while i am here... I wanted to share a few shots from my afternoon photo shoot in our white room.

a heavier textured effect
I brought these lovely fall branches home from the trail today...and just had to photograph them with my antique bleach bottles.
I then played around with different processing....
For all of today's images I used the textures, UggLove and Thursday! I think 'Thursday' is my current fav texture. :)

The main lesson I wanted to share in today's video tutorial is ... even the most intense textures can be soft and subtle.... and oh so right!
xxo,

p.s. Registration for the Art of Texture Secrets eCourse is now open. Check out the September savings!
p.s.s. I'm in love with Yvonne's DIY at the i-Studio.... You gotta check it out!
Enough said..... Enjoy!

Lovely work, and appreciate your generosity. Now to find the time to produce the umpteen images that are swirling around in my head.
Have a wonderful Thursday!!
I shared your video link on Jessicasprague.com and my FB.
Every time I get an email from you I feel like it's my b'day or Christmas... =) Such gifts you give us...I cannot WAIT to try this new technique using the Selection tool. How I love growing and learning and you are the most amazing teacher and inspirer (is that a word?) AND ARTIST! Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!!
I just want to thank you for your generousity ! Its a great thing you do here on internet....I'm so grateful to be a part of your "skinny " course starting at 26 september. Its gonna be so fun, learning the secrets of texturing photos!
Thank you very much!
All my best

Thank you once again for your amazing lesson. I just posted my attempt on Flickr. I'm loving this new "trick" of blurring the selection and I never knew you could add transform selection to a selection to the selection tool. Sure makes selecting an area easier, eh?
