Lightroom Love & Mystery Give Away Revealed
Lightroom Video Tutorial & 2 More Give Away Chances

Hello Lovelies..... How are you? I hope this note finds you well......
I'm a day late with this post...Oops. Sorry... but things aren't quite back to 'normal' around here... We're definitely getting closer though.
I'm excited to pop in and share some Lightroom Love in a little video.... announce the mystery give away item...and of course the winner.....
First a little Lightroom video.... just a snippet on why I LOVE lightroom....
Lightroom is completely non-destructive, it allows you to edit your photo til your hearts content....none of the changes are permanent, you can always get back to your original photo..... Lightroom allows you to apply develop settings to one image or 200 images all at once. Oh and the catalogue feature has changed my life. I can now access my photos, quickly and easily... No more clicking on folders to find a particular photo. So good! Okay I could go on an on...
Oh one more thing... this lovely little mosaic took me about 3 minutes tops to make in Lightroom.... this feature alone would be enough for me to own Lightroom.... but oh my gosh... it's just a morsel of all Lightroom has to offer.

Here's my first Lightroom video.... Check it out.
Now onto the mystery give away (s)..... I'm super excited about this.....

I have lightroom but rarely use it. A chance to learn it hands on from you would be fabulous. I talked about by one word in another email to you earlier, thank you for giving me the link to the etsy site for the bracelet. As I said my word for the year is "Intention". Have a happy weekend. So sorry for your loss.
My one word....Confidence. This is one area where I am lacking so to wear it on a necklace would be my reminder to always have confidence in what I do.
Thanks Kim...you're the best!
Thanks so much for the opportunity of the giveaways.
And one of my goals is to really learn Lightroom, and know it as well as Photoshop.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Hope life is settling a bit for you...I know your walks with Ben always help...
Hugs,
Linda
You're amazing in all that you do, thank you for continuing to be such a great inspiration.
Kathryn
my word for this year is "patience". With all the craziness the last year and a half I know it's just a matter of time before things turn around, if I can hang in there. Finding you and the cafe have been a great escape for me, thank you! I have Lr but haven't upgraded and haven't been on for soooo long... I'm not a techie that gets this stuff and decided to learn what I could on Ps first. I'm hearing really good things though and would love to learn how to combine the two programs. Thanks so much for the opportunity. Have a blessed weekend!!!

This year's word is: Vision. In 2012, I struggled with my vision (my literal vision-the ability TO SEE) because I was having optic neuritis attacks. My immune system was attacking the optic nerve. I was diagnosed with MS five years ago, but after 4 episode with my vision between Feb. and July, I had additional testing which revealed I have Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) a disease often mistaken for MS, but way more serious. One of the effects of NMO is that you can go blind.
Needless to say, I am grateful that my vision recovered, but it's certainly made me hyper aware of just how precious and fragile it is. As an artist and photographer, it would be devastating to lose my ability to see. (I've already lost all the feeling in my hands due to NMO attacking and damaging my spinal cord.)
Vision also refers to the ability to hold fast to an idea or concept, long before you can manifest it. I am looking forward to seeing how this word informs 2013.
My word this year is Margin...making time for renewal, clearing out clutter to make room for living, scheduling empty time to invite beauty and wonder, and moving beyond some margins that have been personal or business comfort zones.
I'm new to your site, and I already love the way it makes me feel. Thank you.
This is the first year I picked a word or more realistically it picked me (one of those lightbulb moments, lol) - FOCUS. I need for this to be in my life, since I tend to get distracted so easily and never seem to accomplish much of anything. Especially with my photography and other classes as well as my life in general. The necklace would be a great reminder. :) Now I need to go back watch your Lightroom video. I just recently upgraded to Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6 - lots of awesome sauce.
I recently purchased Lightroom but have yet to explore it's "magic".
My heart does a happy dance when I see a new blog post from you. Thanks for the inspiration, the learning oportunites, and for just being you!
I have never chosen a word but I would say that my single most important word to myself would be "True" ~ staying true to myself is very important and what makes me most at peace with myself.
Have a wonderful weekend ~ Rebecca
My word for the year would compassion, I want to make sure.. I always think of the other person more..
thank you for giving me a chance to enter this contest..
I have so many words.. but this one is important to me.
I have 2 words: One that I am personally working on is "CONFIDENCE"! I self-doubt myself too much, personally and professionally.
The other word is one that has served me so well in the past 2 years with our son's illness and that is "FAITH". My Lord has repeatedly told me to trust him, and He has rewarded us beyond measure.
Hugs, Barb
Beautiful!
Thank you for the chance to win.
Thank you for all you do...all of it is so much appreciated but I feel almost guilty that I can't get this Lightroom enthusiasm that you are overflowing with.

Thanks for this opportunity!

My word for the year is simplify. I just did a post about it on my blog: http://donaldandcathy.typepad.com/ma_vie_trouvee/2013/01/word-for-the-year-simplify.html
The necklaces are so lovely - would LOVE to have one with my word for the year.
Thanks for all the fun giveaways Kim!!!
My word for this year is "evolve"...
My word for this year is TRUST. I am in a place in my life where I never expected to be - single and independent - though it's a very rough and unsteady position. I may end up losing my home next month and though a friend has generously offered me a place to live with her family, my son and two grandchildren (who live with me) have nowhere else to go and he may end up losing his joint custody because of it. I am also unemployed and though I am signed up with a temp agency, have only worked 28 hours since mid-November. However, precarious as things appear I am TRUSTing that GOD is still in control of my life -our lives - and that He will see us through.
I received Lightroom 4 as a gift a few months ago, but have never used it - I very much wanted to take your Round Trip class, but couldn't afford both Beyond Beyond and Round Trip, so I'm hoping you will offer RT again some day.
Thanks again for the video and the chance to win one of these lovely prizes!
Hugs from Alaska -kimB
Great video! I have Lightroom got away from it for the same reasons you were first intimated...The Catalog! I SO need to get back into it! Thanks for the encouragement!! Sorry to hear of your loss. I would love to win the Lightroom class!
Love that pendent too! Many blessings to you!!!
Catherine♥
I love Lightroom, but desperately need your class to use it properly. Thank you for lovely textures and tidbits :-)
I have been doing word of the year for the last 3 years...this year my word is 'PROGRESS' there is so much I would like to move ahead with..comfortably of course..but at any pace it will be a progressive year for me. I love your word 'open' i hope it brings you an adventurous 2013. You know you're talking me into buying lightroom..200 images all at once & no clicking folders...this is something I need to progress with!!
warm regards
Michelle
