You know I'm all about dreams these days. I shared a little about my dreams HERE. 

I have so much more to share with you...but, first I have some work I must get done....

Every day that I get to edit a photograph that I took myself with my little camera is a day that my dream is coming true. And as I learn more about photography and digital editing, using textures and brushes, and all my fantastic PS Elements tools, the more complete my dream becomes. Kim, you've really helped me with all your tutorials, textures, and challenges. I don't remember how I found you, but I'm sure glad I did. You are appreciated.

f I had a dream that I really wanted to become true, and it was in the realm of reality, and I had the ability to achieve the dream, I would just go ahead and do what was required to have it become true.

First, thank you, Kim, for that class opportunity!! In writing why I wanted it, I realized (because I had actually written it down) just how long ago I fell in love with the little black Kodak box and its possibilities. Which brings me to your question. Over the course of my life I have realized many dreams - and the first step is ALWAYS to envision it. And then write about it. Sometimes we truly do not know what we believe or feel until pen is put to paper - so very different from just thinking about things. I recently rediscovered a book on my shelf by Deena Metzger: Writing or Your Life: A Guide and Companion to the Inner Worlds. So much to say about it and how it applies not just to writing, but to creativity, stimulating the imagination, and the joy of creation. One brief description of it says it. . . . "invites us step-by-step into the inner territory of our own creativity. . . provides a road map to the countries of the soul." This old friend and a notebook are on my kitchen table at all times - once again! As Metzger says, "The beginning. Something wants to be said. We don't know what it is or what shape it desires. An inchoate feeling. A pressure around the heart, perhaps, asking it to open." Seem familiar?

You are fabulous.
I never really dreamed before, never allowing myself to make that assumption. Never putting myself on the line, taking that dive into really wanting to make something happen. Thinking it would only leave me disappointed. This is changing.... thankfully. I never knew dreaming & wishing could be so powerful.
What would I do to make a dream come true? this is hard, as it's all so new.... be vulnerable and set the intention... and work hard to make it happen. X.

I'm actually in the process of finding out what I would do for my dream. My husband are making the "master plan" right now. I know it's going to involve some nerve wracking times, going from two incomes to one, giving up some of those luxury things we've totally grown accustom (dependent?) to. We're both nervous, what if we fail? But it's time. Maybe past time. We need to give it a shot and see if we can make it work. I'm really happy I have such a strong partner to go along with me.

I don't know...I can't decide.
Maybe I'm already living my dream. I have more than I could ever need or want; living in the best place on Earth, with the most loving supportive person imaginable.
Yet...I don't know...what more can I want? What more should I want?
Yes, my parents were immigrants from war-torn Europe and we were raised to made-do and not to want too much.
What is my dream? Can it be better than my life is now?

I have been a dreamer since i can remember...i guess my dad was too. What wouldn't I do for a dream is the real question for me. I mean my life has been a dream coming true over and over again. I don't live like this everyday because I tend to have to remind myself of all that I have achieved and where I've come but when I look back and see what where I was and now where I am ...it is all about dreams. A wish, a dream...that's where it starts. love this question..xoxo

I'm still on page one of writing my dreams down. In fact, I've only filled out one line. I think I would like to travel so I can photograph new places. I've saturated my hometown. I know every flower on every corner. I think that's what my english teacher would call hyperbole. Anyway, what else? Hmmmmm...I do like hanging out with women and talking about God. Is there a dream in there somewhere? Still pondering, Kim. Thanks for getting me started.

Oops, forgot to mention what would I do to make a dream come true? First I would have to remove any barriers that have kept the dream from happening. That's usually where the dream ends. I don't know how to get around the things that block my way. I'm what you call stuck.

Well, to start with, I'm putting my wishes out there and taking risks I'd normally never take in by doing so. That is to say, I am a little more vocal with my wishes, dreams, and deep down inside me desires these days-which at times can be scary, but I'm feeling the fear and doing it anyway. It's good practice. It feels right at this point in my life. And I am just marveling over how many wonderfully thoughtful responses you have received about dreams, Kim. All these lovely dreamers. How fabulous is that?! Pretty fabulous. :)

To make a dream come true, I chant and visualize. Then I tend to not worry and let it happen.

The hardest part about dreaming is overcoming the fear! The fear of failure. "What if," is the steepest part of the dream adventure - and I must admit I have found myself at the bottom looking up all too often. So making a dream come true honestly requires a belief in yourself and the confidence in knowing that - even if you "fail" in the eyes of others - you really have won because you dared to dream and believe.

Dreams change with the years and now that I am older I am dreaming of how I want to spend these years of retirement and how to achieve it. I have at least started with classes and time spent with my camera but I am still unsure of my goal.

I dream of my son overcoming addiction and becoming a mentor to others. I would give my very life for this dream to come true. That may be difficult for others to believe, but I am not afraid of death, and know that being in the loving arms of the Savior is a fine place to be. We have already given a lot; borrowed large sums, dipped into retirement funds, sold possessions, made second mortgages to send him to treatment facilities. The most difficult part is watching the destruction of a fine young man and his relationships with family and friends. Still, while my mother's heart bears the wear and tear beyond anything I could have foreseen, I must keep dreaming... this dream is really a prayer...
