Happy Love Day

Hello my friends... 

I just wanted to pop in and share a little 'love' with you all.  

How are you?  I hope you are well...... 

I thought I would share a few pics of Auntie Marg's teacup collection today.  They are pretty and many are pink... both which remind me of Valentine's Day. :)

Oh my goodness she had a beautiful collection of tea cups...  I think she would have loved seeing them here on my site. 

Perhaps her only critique would be the chippy tin top I photographed them on.  Auntie Marg wasn't a huge fan of chippy paint and rust.. old and worn...  nopers... But personally I LOVE the contrast.

She never missed a Valentine's Day ... She always had a special gift for the boys. When they were younger she would make perfect heart cookies for school parties or heart shaped cakes. They loved taking them to class.  All the kids loved Auntie Marg.  'sigh'

I was always so grateful she loved to bake.  Wow, she saved me..... so many times...

Totally gorgeous shots. I agree with the contrast on the chipped table. It takes the photos to an elegant yet chic place that I LOVE. Those aunties are never forgotten. We have Auntie Hilda in our family. She's always picking up crazy little gadgets (most play music) for my boys. Ya know what...that's the stuff they love. Happy Valentine's Everyone.

My Grandmother had a beautiful tea cup collection. I don't know what happened to them but your beautiful images brought back sweet memories.

My maternal grandmother also had a cup and saucer collection, and I don't know where they are today. Your cup and saucer are beautifully staged on the 'shabby' piece; that kind of contrast is special.

Kim, your photos are lovely! Perfect for today!!!! I have a teacup collection from my Grandma. When not being used for tea, some of the cups hold beads and sit on my studio table.
