Dear friends,
Awhile back I asked you to share a favourite movie or television show. Hands down, Downton Abbey was the fav. I had never heard of it. Naturally I was curious.... I googled it....and so it began. Our new addiction. We watched one episode after another.... and now it's over. I think I'm having withdrawl.... I can't wait for Season 4.
Have you been watching it? If yes, oh my gosh.... the season 3 finale.... What??? I won't spoil anything. But wowzer! Shock and dismay......
Okay so the other day I was out for a walk after watching the final episode and it came to me... I should make a Downton Texture Collection for my readers.... a little thank you for sharing such a wonderful series....
And so here you have it sweet friends.... Thank you.....
The Downton Collection - Mary, Cora, Sybil & Edith.....

Perhaps this will be a first eDition.... After all there are many lovely Downton characters to honour.

How generous of you, Kim, thanks.
Thanks so much for your wonderful gifts.
As always thank you for the wonderful textures. Sybil is my fave here and on the show.
We are all fans of Downton Abbey.
Beth
Take the Downton Abbey quiz to find out what character you are? Too fun!
I love that you named the textures after the girls...poor Sybil!!
Cheers, Cathy
I just started watching this show (just three episodes in) and I already love it!
What a creative idea you had making textures honoring the characters. Beautiful. Thank you!
Side note to all Kim Klassen fans and Lightroom wanna-be's:
I can't rave enough about the Road Trip Class. Last year when I decided to delve into portrait photography, I looked at Lightroom, knew it would provide the workflow and organization that I was looking for, however, it was just to daunting a task to tackle learning a new software while also working on my photography skills, business website, forms, etc. Now, 10 mos. later, I felt ready to tackle it. I can't even imagine trying to do it without the aid of this class, and I am only at day 3...way behind, but playing catch up. I highly recommend this class to all, however before you sign up, I caution you to make sure you have your photo organization thought out & in place, along with an adequate storage & back up solution. This is why I am behind! But now that I am getting into the nitty gritty, I am so excited about what learning this program means...increased efficiency, creative flexibility & possibilities and a smarter workflow. Be sure to sign up for the next Round Trip class. You will not regret it!
these look really fun, can't wait to play with them.
thanks so much, Kim, and have an awesome weekend!!!
