Hi Kim, Thank you sooo much for sharing your story. I know it was not easy, and I also know what you meant by hoping to see a lesson learned and a turn-about with his life... we are waiting for that to happen with our son. Just have to say that I adore you for offering these 12 textures and amazing brushes! I've got so many to choose from when I sit down to embellish my photos that I don't know what to do... Dearest Kim,
You never cease to amaze me - and your attitude about pushing forward with positive energy is a daily inspiration for me. You are an encouraging force to so many, whether we take time to write it down here or not - You are a blessing.

Days like the one you had when you fell on the ice (after bathing in the beauty of CA) can be forgotten...and someday they will be a funny reminder that when we are right where want to be, we still fall down, and have to pull ourselves back up (and yes, cursing while doing so always helps). I live in CA, and was raised near the area you are so fond of... so I understand the insult to injury that fall you took was because I lived in MI for two years as well. But believe it or not, being here makes me long for the cold colorful Fall and icey snowy Winter there every year. Even though falling on ice is common and dangerous there, driving the Los Angeles freeways here is just as bad.... and yes cursing makes you feel better when driving here as well. haha.

Your story 2 was so wonderful - I find it fascinating that your goals and inspirations have in turn caused so many others to move forward in a new direction too. I started with you last January, and my year has come out completely different then I thought it would (creatively speaking). You spoke of all the changes you encountered and I felt the same way about what I learned from you in the last year. You made everything seem clearer for me in the last year, and without even knowing it, your wake became my creative guide.

Thank you so much for everything you share, and everything you create - I don't know where I'd be in this life without your kindness. I am encouraged every day to create, and to love doing it, because of your joyful blog, and your inspiring thoughts and beautiful, inspirational art.

Another amazing texture, Kim! Love it. And it just so happens we have been having rather stormy weather here in San Diego the past couple of weeks, so last week I went out and took photographs of the rainfall in all its exquisite beauty. There is so much beauty to be found in the rain. Perfect stormy skies make for fabulous lighting, resulting in awesome photographs. Add to that any one of your brilliant textures and you've got something really special. :) Anyway, I love this texture because it really fits my mood these days - STORMY, in good way that is. :)
