Today I'm giving thanks for the endless beauty and inspiration of summer.

 

giving thanks for my hubby who let's me 'pick' the posies....then oh so willingly plants and cares for them.

it's a fabulous collaboration.... i think... :)

 

and oh my gosh....so happy to discover this little mama bird outside my kitchen window yesterday! I'm so bad with birdie names... is this a sparrow? I know many of you will know. 

so pleased to see the sun today! 'sigh'

loving that the daisies seemed to pop open overnight.

Beautiful images, the bird looks like a chipping sparrow. I took myself off to the mall today (which is rare for me) and I managed to get a couple of skirts and some photography magazine to lose myself in. It was a good day.

I have some of those daisies, too! They are "volunteer" plants that spring up in unexpected, but still delightful, places. Oh how I wish my husband would plant my flowers! I have at least 12 little nursery pots sitting on my front porch....needing a home in the ground. Several are white African daisies with purple edges, some traditional daisy-shaped and others with the 'spoon' petals. Beautiful images, Kim. BTW...I'm thankful for finding your blog and for taking your mini-course. Both have opened a whole new world to/for me!

Love these images Kim. Today I am thankful to be fortunate enough to be on vacation in Maui HI. Oh so beautiful. The weather is so much warmer and dryer than at home in OR. Lovin' it.

Today I am thankful for my daughter, and very proud of her. We were in Toronto today for her Graduation ceremony at Ryerson University. Can't believe my baby is all grown up.
