Countdown to Christmas - Another Give Away

Hello friends,
How are you? Happy Saturday.....
I'm popping in quickly to announce the lovely Holstee gift card winner....and to offer up one final give away.....
You know how much I love Kinfolk magazine....right? It's such a treasure....just holding it in my hands is enough. There's something about the paper that makes me so happy.... and of course the photos are always so inspiring.
My copy of volume 6 arrived a few days ago. I haven't had a chance to sit down with it quite yet... I can't wait to open it up and soak it all in.

Today I'm giving away a copy of Kinfolk volume 6 to one lovely reader.
To enter, simply share a comment below. To keep it interesting....I'd love to hear a recent 'read' you've enjoyed.... fiction, non-fiction, a magazine, quarterly publication..... Do tell!
I will be back on Monday to announce the winner.....
I so enjoyed reading your Christmas stories below Thursdays posts. Thank you for sharing...and for all your skinny tree love.... 'sigh'.... I wish I could write back to every one of you that comments and emails. The days are so full..... Please know I read every single note, and I appreciate you so much.
The winner of the Holstee notecards is: Scott Allen. Congrats, my friend! Please pop me a quick note, so I can get you all hooked up.
Okie doke, I'm off.... time for a little wrapping...

My parents ( i am Dutch) lived the war. And growing up i listened to many stories told by the Australian author Markus Zusak.
Touching sweet story...
I'd love to read Kinfolk magazine, I've never hear of it but if you like it, it must be good!
Wishing you a peaceful and happy Christmas. Love Karen x
I am currently reading "These Is My Words," a fictional diary written by a young lady in 1880s Arizona Territory. Since it is where I live, I'm really enjoying it!
I've been reading cookbooks lately, trying to find the perfect Christmas cookie recipe.
With the crazy year we have had, there has not been much time for casual reading, however...I just received a new cookbook for Christmas from my daughter and am loving it! Deb Perelman's "Smitten Kitchen". Oh, the yumminess I am finding in there!
God bless you, friend.

I wish you all the best now and always, Kim.
I have a stash of Christmas home decorating books that I pull out every year...last year I added Nell Hill's 'O Christmas Tree' to the collection. It's such a visual feast! Last might I sat with a cup of hot chocolate (with a shot of peppermint schnapps, of course!) and savored it again.
For some reason my sister got her to read V. C. Andrews first book which is called "Flowers in the Attic".
I am reading the book this Christmas in honor of my mom.
I thought my eyes could capture her thoughts are she read this book. ha
Much love to you and yours kind lady! Love, Melinda Hamilton Hunter
