Back to School Color Storyboard

Good Morning!
Ooops... it's now afternoon... yeesh....
way too many interruptions today!
How's your week going so far? I hope good....
It's been HOT, HOT...HOT here...and then this morning... BRRR... a cold north wind blew in.... quite strange.
I do believe the sun is warming things up.... but man, that wind is STRONG.
Today, I thought I'd share a little something I love to make when I need a creative boost!
A Color StoryBoard....
This is a great way to choose colors for your design projects or a palette for your blog or website.
Simply find a photo you love.... and open it up in Photoshop... Hover over the image with the color picker.... and select several different shades from within the image.....
You don't have to make a color board like this.... But it's definitely a lot of fun!!
You can also find several FAB color swatch apps online.... like Adobe Kuler. Have you tried it? It's super cool!!
Color Schemer is another good one! You can check it out here.
And I just found this...but I haven't tried it yet... It's called Instant Eyedropper.
Here's how it works:
'Instant eyedropper is a free software tool for webmasters that will identify and automatically paste to the clipboard the html color code of any pixel on the screen with just a single mouse click.'
Before I sign off....
Remember that brush tutorial I've been promising?
I will post it tomorrow...sweet and oh so patient friends.....
Test Kitchen Members... I have a color board template to share shortly... watch for that later today.
Must run.... or I should say bike... Ben and I are off to get blown away on the trail....
'sigh'
xxo,

p.s. absolutely brilliant submission for this week's Texture Tuesday!! Just so much to love!
