Texture Tuesday Update...oh and another give away....keep reading.

Hello lovelies.....
More tea..... as you can see...
I'm on a bit of a roll..... perhaps you've noticed.... 'smile'.
I'm working on a little project ... having loads of creative fun.....feeling really inspired, and for that I'm so grateful.
I must be quick... lots happening around here.
Oh my...do I have a story to share...soon....I have to bite my tongue for a little longer.... Can't wait to spill the beans!
Okie doke, I'm popping in with a new texture for you to try... I call this little gem '1301'.
Take a peek.

I used it on the photo below.... along with a layer of last week's 'return'. Good stuff.
Recipe Rundown
I processed the photo in Lightroom...(Round Trippers, remember the Lightroom develop preset for the sky image we made in class? ... well, I used it on this photo) then I moved into photoshop..... added one layer of today's 1301 at multiply 44% and one layer of return at soft light 77%. Finally the quote, with a fav font.... Rough Typewriter.

One more Give Away Opportunity
How 'bout a chance to win a spot in Beyond, Beyond?
To enter, leave a comment below sharing a favourite movie or tele show....old or new.... Do tell!
Side note
I will admit to a little too much Tele over the holidays.... It did give me a chance to shut down and just kinda be. (not always a bad thing)
John and I started watching Bones on Netflix, on New Years Eve... Yep we know how to have a good time...hah...
Anyhow we watched the first season and even moved into the second.... Can you imagine? We watched something like 30 episodes! We're a little tired of it now... The main reason I kept jumping to the next episode was to see if Booth and Bones got together....I'm not joking! Sadly I've heard they don't get together until about season 5 or 6 (who knows if it lasts...lol). There's no way I can watch that many episodes.... I'm kinda over it... ugh.
Ooops, I got a little side tracked... sorry friends....
Anyhow, as I said to enter the Beyond Beyond give away leave a comment below sharing a fav movie or television program.
I will announce the winner on Tuesday. Already signed up.... that's okay.... if you win, I will credit you back.
::
Until Tuesday.... here's to a truly inspired week.
Love & Gratitude.... always....

I'm a hopeless romantic and many of my favourite movies or shows revolve around the music. The Notebook" sigh...that song "Feels Like Home to Me" does me in every time. I also love Under the Tuscan Sun because I would love to be brave enough to take on that amazing estate and renovate while still l leaving all the marks of it's past history.
Right now I'm watching Supernatural. My son got us hooked while he was here on leave. It's quite fascinating... demons & angels, etc. I never can seem to commit totally to a show.
Do you remember Dynasty during the 80's? My family all watched (we each had a t.v. in our rooms... seriously, who does that?)... even the ones that didn't live with us. Then we'd all talk about it on the phone the next day or at family get togethers. Lol!
A movie that I seem to watch every time I see that it is on TV is Coach. Great inspirational story.
OK, but my true confession, the show I tape and watch (and re-watch? Only because there are marathons every Saturday!) is NCIS...I know, I know - even my family says its a little predictable by now, but I STILL love watching the episodes...the character development is so good and so diverse!! And I can play with photoshop while listening!
I would so love a trip to "Beyond Beyond" - more digital fun while watching my favorite reruns!
Love your textures!!! Thank you.
Kim thanks for all the fabulous textures. Can't wait for Beyond Beyond and Round Trip to start. I'm signed up for both. :o)
I am already signed up for Beyond Beyond and am looking forward to it.
The hubby and I enjoy watching Bones together. He buys me the dvd's for birthday's etc. I am a bit hard to buy for. We have enjoyed the character development of the series. I think our favorite part is the eyes ore the "looks" that are exchanged. And I know if Bones and Booth get together but I won't spoil it for you just in case you decide to watch another marathon.
Thanks for all he wonderful textures and videos but more so thanks for the inspiration and encouragement.
You are Beyond Beyond Awesome!
We have no cable so we don't watch too many tv shows but my favorite movie of all time is Shawshank Redemption, I have to watch it every year, especially when I am not feeling well.
For older TV shows, Dick Van Dyke and the Andy Griffith are favorites and I have both complete series on DVD. more recent favorites are Monk (also have that complete series), Extreme Makeover Home Edition and Once Upon a Time. My son and I rent TV series to watch at home, as well (another son is a manager at Blockbuster) and this fall and winter I've seen Jericho, The 4400, Veronica Mars, Life, Lie to Me, Flashpoint and Criminal Minds - all great series. I've also been enjoying the Big Bang Theory :) I know most of these shows were on years ago, but I didn't watch them then...
I'm glad to see Texture Tuesday is back and am looking forward to beginning Beyond Beyond zoo, too!
Hugs from Alaska - kimB
Yep, actually just got done a few minutes ago with three episodes of Bones. One side note about the show is how much very cool music I've discovered from watching it. Netflix recently added another season (I have no idea how many there are) so I'm slowly working my through it. I don't do tv, only netflix (which can get frustrating to get really into something and then have to wait for them to hopefully someday add another season...) and dvd's. Other series I've enjoyed are Fringe (my favorite), Dexter, and Lie To Me. My all-time favorite show was/is the original Get Smart, with Don Adams :)
Thanks for another great texture, I'll try to work it into the 'cuppa' theme.
Have a great week!!!
Hubby and I are also big fans. Didn't watch the first season at all then one night caught it and we were hooked.
They are so cute together so really you have to watch the new ones. Good writers. The show is crammed with lots of good stuff about all the characters ... I'm sure you'll enjoy the new ones as much.
Okay ... oh my goodness you are just full of inspiration this week ... well, you are all of the time and each week whether it be here or Beyond ... I have ideas for all of it. Trouble is I've not even picked up the camera to play at Making some images in months because of having a house guest that took up all of my time. Well, she is gone now after 10 weeks and we are loving having our privacy back but now I am so behind in all of my work it is crazy.
I had to work on my calendars so have spent the past few days getting them done. Still have to take them to print and here it is the middle of January. It never fails. First it was the computer crash that delayed me then the guest on top of getting a new computer then not having time to set it up the way I wanted let alone finding all of my files with I needed them.
So I must tell you that I love the coffee and tea themes ... right up my ally. Makes me want to find my tea infuser and have at it.
Thank you again for all of your wonderful thoughtful ways ... it makes me just so grateful to have you and your imagination to look forward to when I need to replenish my sanity. I have already signed up for Beyond Beyond ... it's like breathing now ... couldn't not have it in my life.
I'm hoping to get some of my Beyond assignments completed this week just to get me back on track again. AND I love that Beyond starts again the day after my birthday ... it's just so right and such a nice present to give myself.
This is my year ... because I said so ... so here I come! Can't wait to see what you are cooking up ... the suspense is killing me ... in a good way. Thanks for the texture ... always a beauty.
Love and hugs, Joy

Castle (only recently and the only crime show I'd ever watch), HIMYM (the best new "Friends" around) and Big Bang Theory (love it!).
Hope to be lucky this time, I have no clue about anything texture-related...
Survivor is still one of my all time favourites...never get tired of that show...And I am obsessed with Breaking Bad and Shameless! Must-see tv!
Thanks for all the texture shares.
Thank you for another beautiful texture.
We don't have a TV, so I relay on DVDs. I am loving The Big Bang Theory, and Friends is still one of my all time favorites series, it cheers me right up if I feel a wee blue. :)
My Secret Santa didn't pick Beyond Beyond for me, but "Expressive Photography: The Shutter Sisters' Guide to Shooting from the Heart". I know many Beyonders love it, so I am happy anyway. I'll now try to re-view all the lessons of Beyond Layers I can before the end of Feb. Thanks again for the lovely class. :)
Wishing you a most pleasant week. :)
Glad you're back. I've been sick and finally feeling better and I spired myself. A sweet customer gave me a handmade ceramic coffee mug that looks so very similar to the one above! I'll have to shoot it for tomorrow. :)
Somewhere in Time is a 1980 romantic science fiction film directed by Jeannot Szwarc. It is a film adaptation of the 1975 novel Bid Time Return by Richard Matheson, who also wrote the screenplay. The film stars Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, Christopher Plummer, Teresa Wright, and Bill Erwin.
Reeve plays Richard Collier, a playwright who becomes smitten by a photograph of a young woman at the Grand Hotel. Through self-hypnosis, he travels back in time to the year 1912 to find love with actress Elise McKenna (portrayed by Seymour). But her manager William Fawcett Robinson (portrayed by Plummer) fears that romance will derail her career and resolves to stop him.
The film is known for its musical score composed by John Barry. The eighteenth variation of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini also runs throughout the film.
I highly recommend it!

Thanks for another wonderful texture, Kim !
And I love that sweet face of Ben on the photo collage !
Nice week,
Sylvia
Our new pup is keeping us busy at the moment so that's definitely cutting into my tv time but that's a good thing.
Talking of cuppa's think I need to go and make myself one.
