A Series of Unfortunate Events
mouse over to see the before ~ textured with today's freebie confusion
Oh dear sweet technology.... how I adore you...... But gosh... you definitely test my patience when you decide to take a break from your sweet and smooth ways.....
My repetitive line this past week.... 'give me strength'.... over and over....
Hello.... Oh my... I will not bore you with the details... but oh dear... have I had some tech troubles this past week. The line 'a series of unfortunate events' comes to mind.... I'm trusting all will be sorted soon.
In the meantime I have some updates.
The TT changes are coming...I promise.... However.... due to my 'issues'... I'm afraid I must leave you hanging for another week.
Rather than missing out on TT completely... how bout a free & easy eDition?
So please feel free to pop in tomorrow and link up your fav textured photo.....
I do have a lovely little texture to share today.... I call this gem... confusion. I used it on my sweet peony photo above.
Take a peek.

Before I go... I have a little video to share....
I've been practicing making films with my new nikon... dslr video is NOT easy....so much to learn... anyhow....a little snippet of our afternoon on the front porch.... Ben is sharing his 'tricks'..... so darn cute.
the handsome guy with the dog treats.. yep that's my hubby.... or as Ben calls him... Daddy. :)
Deep breaths.... thanks for your patience... have a perfectly perfect week!

Thanks for today's texture. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
Take care
When we read "A Series of Unfortunate Events" in your email, we thought something bad happened, so glad we were wrong. :) We had many tech troubles this past week too, first with out external hard-drive, then with our laptop and DSRL. Argh! Why this kind of things tend to happen together? LOL! :)
Have a fab new week, Kim! xo
Thanks for the texture (awesome as ever) and for the uplifting video!! Your pup is sooo cute! :-) We miss ours a lot.
Thanks for the lovely texture! :)
Thank you so much for the beautiful texture, and for sharing Ben with us. Adorable with a capital "A"! I hope that your technical issues all come together for you soon.
I have run in to two different bloggers lately who have been using your textures and singing your praises. One is currently in your Beyond Layers course and takes gorgeous photos. You have touched so many people!
Have a lovely day!
Isn't it the way when we're at our busiest! It's almost as if the universe were saying "Hey you, you with all that on your plate . . how about slowing down for a second?" ;-) After watching you navigate Photoshop so brilliantly I have no doubt that you'll conquer the present challenges your facing.
Oh and the video . . . what a lovely video and glimpse into your world. I love the nostalgic feeling you've created and seeing beautiful and ever so brilliant Ben.
Thanks for all you so lovingly do, and go through to share your inspiration.

thank you so much for the beautiful texture.

Carol
thanks for the video!
Hope it all gets worked out soon.
I think it was a tense one for many - ostensibly something to do with a variety of planetary alignments. There are times when I think it's almost better to not look - but at least checking in with my favorite astrological prognosticators helps to know when to keep my mouth shut and stay out of the proverbial line of fire !
Remain calm!

Loved the video...we all have computer problems...just have to go with the flow.
Thanks for always coming through, no matter what.
xoxo
so sorry for you 'issues'. it seems that life is always full of trials & tribulations.
hopefully your issues are quickly resolving and life will get back to 'normal'.
have a great week!
Have a wonderful day Kim!
Love your blogs, posts, classes and textures! But imhave to ask what is that beautiful music that is playing in the background of your fun video? I love it! So peaceful and the strings...ah, I hope to discover a new musican.
Best Regards
Beth
Thanks so much for all your textures and generosity in talent and spirit. And I'm totally envious that it is cool enough there for you to wear long sleeves; it's sure not that way north of Houston, TX where I live. I'm jealous!
Henrietta
Can you share the name of the music you were playing in your video?
Thank Y♥U,
Lee Ann
Don't fret, when in doubt uninstall whatever you installed prior to the issues. Find a really good Geek friend, walk away from it for an hour, have a cuppa ... on your beautiful front porch and go back with a refreshed mind.
LOVE Ben! ... That was the cutest thing ever, OMG ... I love that you shared those moments with us. Smart puppy .... I was watching his face knowing exactly where his treats were coming from ... what a joy!
Beautiful Peonies, ... they are such a romantic flower! Our lilacs are done now. I'm aching to get my BL assignments up to date. You are such a gem ... this was a delightful video. I don't have that capability on my old D2X ... but someday.
Wishing you success with resolving your techie issues. Don't worry about the rest of us, this stuff happens.
Now ... remember to breathe, everything will work out.
Cheers,
Joy
I'm currently struggling with technical issues too, but they're "pleasant" ones. Three days ago I bought myself a brand-new I-Mac 27". Being a pc-user all my life, it's quite a difference. The Mac is just, well, Great! but all the transfers that have to happen (photo's, Lightroom, waiting for CS6 to arrive...) just give me sleepless nights. But as I said: they are pleasant technical issues and they don't come unexpected, so.
And first, I will be off for a little vacation next week on a small island in the North of Holland, just nature, sea and quiet.
Take care Kim, and in case you need some extra "quiet", give me a sign, I'll send some over with DHL :-)

Loved your video and am hoping that you will teach us how you did it. Good to see Ben "in action" and your sweet hubby.
The music is so pretty too. Thanks for the texture.
