i can not get enough of the beautiful lilacs...

yesterday it rained...again..

so i zipped out and took a few pics of the lilacs before the wind blew the rain droplets away.

desaturated the original image

then duplicated the base and popped it on top at soft light

then i added my 'frosted' texture from my new collection

Oh that is just stunning...it has been so warm here, all the lilacs are gone already and my peonies started popping out yesterday! And we could use a little rain...
