before & after and words to live by

mouse over for the before texture image. to create this image i adjusted the curves, to make the daffodils pop.then added the "antiqued edge" texture from the collection with a soft light blending mode.and finally, removed the texture from the yellow petals. ~~~~~  it hit me last night.... not sure why the message was so clear....but the message was for me and for you too!drum roll please....~~~~~ "YES YOU CAN" yes you can do it.anything you set your mind to....whether it's as simple as taking a walk everyday, learning something new (like how to use your camera or learning to draw),spending more time with yourself,spending more time with your family,enjoying life,taking deep breathsmaking it through a difficult time whatever it is.... "YES YOU CAN" i'm just sayin... cause yes i can...."sigh" ~~~~~

isn't it great when we realize that ?
we tell our kids all the time....YES YOU CAN....but reminding ourselves of that....well, it usually doesn't happen !

and i thought i was the texture and layer whore...sorry if that words bothers anyone...I guess I could use slut....but anyhow, as much as I loooooove them, especially the one i used today....well, you might have me beat !
