inspired by "bloom"

this morning i popped over to a new to me, and completely fabulous blog....  and i was inspired.....

camilla has captured the beauty in something not so beautiful...  the dullness of winter.. the winter blahs.... and she has shared it oh so perfectly on her lovely site "bloom".....

it made me think....it's so easy to find beauty when there is frost on the branches or water droplets on the leaves... or flowers blooming...but to find beauty on a dull winter day, when the sun is hiding and everything around looks a little grungy... wow, that's a gift... a gift we can all give ourselves... there truly is beauty all around.

so after reading camilla's posting... actually today's and yesterdays, i headed out to my yard with my camera... and thought, surely, there must be something worth capturing...

and i think there was...  nature's beauty was there...i just needed to look a little harder...
take your camera out... go looking....  i bet it's there too!

xxo, kim
p.s. thanks again for the inspiration camilla....

How fun Kim....your images are so beautiful...really like the soft tones and your processing.

I love snow...with all my heart. But there is non...zip. It is all melting and it truly feels like April here in NW Montana...bizarre.
Great post!
