Happy Monday
How are you? I hope this little note finds you well.
I can't believe Christmas is over. It comes and goes....so quickly. But I'm grateful for another holiday spent with our family..... and of course our sweet little Ben.
I just wanted to pop in and say Hi.
I will be back with a more lengthy update on Ben and a little of this and that as well.
But in the meantime, I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and support.
Ben is doing very well. He's still smiling (wagging his tail) and being so good about everything.
I took this pic of him this morning... the light wasn't great....but he was lying sweetly by my feet in the studio.
He spends most of his time in a play pen.... it's so cute.... but he loves to get down on the cool floor and stretch out as well.
Anyhow, please know we are all so grateful for your prayers and support....I will be back with a more detailed report of Ben and maybe a little video too.... :)

Hey Kim (are you the same Kim who designed fabric a while ago?) If so, you might remember me as Hootin Annies....
BUT, I absolutely understand the love of a dog. A bit over a year ago we bought a six week old golden retriever and he has seriously been the love of my life. I can't believe so much love can come from one breathing animal, but it does. I don't blame you for doing all you can to help Ben in his time of need. I'm sure he will give you untold years of love and devotion that in my mind you can't put a price on.
I wish you and your family and Ben years and years of love together.

Glad your buddy is back home. You will be busy caring for him! I can't picture him in a play pen, though. Hope you can keep him calm and quiet while he heals. He's going to miss his walks on the trail and will probably have the pouty lip soon along with the pleading eyes. BE STRONG. (Just a little encouragement)

I'm so happy to hear some good news about Benji-Boy. You guys are in it for the long-haul. I can see how he looks at the camera, how much he loves and trusts you. This kind of stuff is pure gold. Revel in it, bask in it, t here is little better. I'm looking forward to hearing more good news from you.
It is heartening to hear that Ben is feeling stronger and more his wonderful silly self. What lessons our animal companions teach us! I saw a cute sign today in our Northern Lights display, "Bark, the hairy angels sing!" and it made my heart happy. Hope it delights you and Ben too.
