october 31st…where did the month go?
good morning, good morning….
i can not believe another month has come to an end! it’s absolutely crazy how quickly the days are slipping away! i’m a little slow getting started this morning. i’ve been up for hours, but i haven’t been too anxious to start some of the things on my list of to-dos.
like these dishes for example. man can i stack’em! can you believe we do not have a dish washer? is that not just crazy? :)
andy is a little slow himself this morning. his 4 mile hike on the trail yesterday with his cousin, Sophie, has made him a little stiff this morning. i don’t think the damp weather is helping. he’s resting up for another walk and then for tonight’s little goblins. he loves to say hello to each and every one of them.

as you can see he really isn’t a big fan of the camera. but i tell him to just relax and enjoy himself. look at him …enjoying himself! :) this is andy’s spot on the couch and he will do whatever it takes to claim it. no matter who might come before him.
what i would love, more than anything at this moment, is to turn back the calendar to September when it was warm and sunny and sit out on the porch with my newest books, flipping the pages and getting inspired.
but oh my, it’s chilly this morning. so the best i can do is sit with andy and steal just a few more minutes of inspiration before real life steals me away. what’s your day looking like?
til next time…kim xoxo

It's unreal how fast the days fly by, isn't it! I hope to be able to paint all day today. :-)
really like your coffee mugs!! :-)
hi Jeanette
oh i hope you were able to paint all day. sadly i didn't get into the studio at all. but the windows are washed and the house is cleaner. hopefully tomorrow i can paint for a good part of the day.
take care, kim
hi sheila,
why thank you ... haha... :)
xoxo kim
i love all your images, dear kim ...
we, as well, are without a mechanical dishwasher, but as my folks would say ... "you have a house full of dish washers"! i really find it satisfying to wash them myself and put them away ~ call me old fashioned ... and sometimes i just need to do this task ~ just to calm my mind ... ;)
and i'm with sheila ~ love your coffee mugs!
love your andy ~ he's such a dear fellow ...
and of course your swing on your porch ... sigh ... simply inviting and can just imagine you swinging the time away ... getting lost in stimulating reading!
it will be there dear friend, waiting for you when the spring suns shine ...
