day 18 and a little photo rambling
happy sunday. i hope you had a perfectly peaceful day. our internet was down for most of today, so i am late in getting this posted. but here i am with desperate housewives in the background. i am thinking perhaps the internet “break” was yet another gift from above. lately i have been so inspired that it’s hard to shut the ideas off. they just keep buzzing around in my head. i’m not complaining! i am truly grateful for the inspiration! but like my friend prairiegirl and i have been discussing, we feel like our heads could explode at any moment. :) so a little break from the incredible online inspiration was a “good thing”.
i have been fooling around with a new lens this weekend. I am so grateful to maya at springtree road for recommending it in her fabulous photography tips post. check it out.
and i also took some photos of my niece and her husband. they wanted to capture her beautiful baby belly. amanda is due in november. she looks amazing!
today. brett (our oldest son) made a fabulous pasta dish for dinner. gosh i wish i took a pic of it. it was yummy! the wonderful mr. k worked away on our bedroom remodelling. he’s getting close to the finish line. i’m so excited to put the room together when it’s ready! i will definitely need to take some pics of that. i managed to make a nice brunch, bake some more pumpkin loaf, walk 4 miles on the trail and lift weights with mr. k. it was a “perfectly peaceful” day!
during all my creative inspiration, andy has been a little annoyed with me lately. check out the evil eye he was shooting the camera the other day….
“seriously unimpressed, put the camera down and take me for a walk!! “
finally, here is my latest christmas deSign~day 18. you are probably seeing a rusted tin theme in these christmas deSigns. i’m loving it!
i seem to have so much to share lately. but i will sign off for now. until next time…
xoxo kim
