I would like to learn more about how your run your online business! Can you share some tips?

I get this question daily. I try to help people as much as I can.

I'm in the process of putting together an eCourse on creative business blogging. Please watch for it this fall.  

What camera and lenses do you use?

I am currently using the Nikon d700. My older images were taken with a nikon d90 then a d300s and now most are shot with my d700. Please visit my About page. I keep an updated list of the camera and gear I use for my photography and art. I would say my most used lens is the nikon 24-70.

I am on your list, but I did not receive your latest email. Can you help?

The Texture Lovin' List is quite large. The email goes out to thousands of people. It is all processed thru an email service. Sometimes the messages are blocked by your isp (internet service provider) or by your mail security program. If it is blocked 3 times, the service will automatically unsubscribe your address from the list. 

You can try resubscribing. But be sure to add my email address to your contacts before you subscribe. This should help prevent the emails form being blocked. The email is kim at kimklassen dot com.  

Another option would be to register a different email address. Again, be sure to add my email to your contact list.

I love your site? Who designed it for you? 

I designed the site using the squarespace platform. I designed the graphics in photoshop.

I'm interested in advertising on your site? Can you explain how it works.

How do you make your textures? Is it easy to do?

Most of my textures start with art surface. Many are made with layers of paint, ink, papers and mediums and then several layers in photoshop. It's a fabulous creative process. You can find out more about this HERE.

Your dog Ben is so cute! What breed is he?

Ben is a goldendoodle. (golden retriever and poodle) He is the most gentle, loving dog ever. This breed would be amazing for ACTIVE families. We adopted him from my cousin who worked full time. So, He was alone during the day and did not like it. He hates being alone. In fact, we are rarely apart. If I have to leave him, he goes to Grandmas. He does need lots of exercise (9 miles of walking, running and biking him each day). But he is the light of my life. :) 

How old are your kids?

I have 2 boys. Brett is almost 21 and Bryce is 19 1/2.  And Ben, my goldendoodle is almost 2.
